Spotlight 7/9/19 Kris Foster

It’s time once again to recognize the amazing players of the paintball community. Every two weeks, we seek out a variety of players to hear their take on paintball and what they’ve experienced in the sport thus far. Let’s get right to it and see what this week has in store:

This week we’re shining the spotlight on Buffalo Paintball’s Kris Foster, from Attica NY, who’s been playing for about four years now. His friend Josh Fisher had introduced him to the sport, which appears to have made a positive impact on his experience thus far. Kris has attended a number of events and like many players, travels quite a distance to experience each field’s unique style and gameplay. He’s played at fields such as GRC Paintball, Check Six Paintball, and Pentagon Paintball. When asked about what kind of player he is, Kris told us that he is more of a casual player and just likes to play in more scenario woodsball type games rather than speedball. Playing all year round also doesn’t seem to be a problem for Kris, as he plays as often as he can. That being said, each player has their preferred gear when playing and Kris is no exception. His Empire Axe is his preferred marker and seems to have had no problems with it so far.

We always like to hear about each player’s unique experiences as well as some of the more memorable times they’ve played. Kris received MVP last year at The Siege which he told us was his most memorable experience so far. Like many of us, Kris prefers to play in the larger games with more people which tend to be more lively and immersive. Traveling is almost mandatory if you’re a paintball player, and we like to recognize the dedicated players that spend the time to travel to other fields and meet the rest of the paintball community. Kris has traveled up to three hours for paintball events and had the chance to meet some of those other players. Next time you attend an event, keep an eye out for Kris and talk with him for a while, as he will likely be there.

That does it for this week’s Spotlight, featuring Kris Foster. Thanks to everyone for reading and we hope you’ll join us for the next Spotlight!
